Task 4 - Conclusion

When comparing my own research to the secondary research that I found there are differences but also similarities as well.

One difference is the age group that play the game, the secondary research stated that more people between the age of 55-65 were playing GTA V. However after conducting my own research I gathered different results showing that in fact more people between the ages of 19-25 play this game frequently.

Another difference is that the study suggested that the people who play GTA V are more likely to have children and are also more likely to be married. I found completely different results to this statement as none of my participants who filled out the questionnaire had children. Also about 60% were currently single meaning that my results compared to the secondary research were far apart from each other.

The aspects that we could agree on is why people actually play the game itself, the study suggested that people play the game for the wide variety of activities to do. I can back this up as my results show that people play for the open world and for the freedom to do whatever they want
